Samson R. Elsbernd

Mr. Elsbernd joined Wilke, Fleury, Hoffelt, Gould & Birney, LLP, as an associate in September 2009. He obtained his undergraduate degree at The George Washington University (GWU), in Washington, D.C.; graduating summa cum laude. He also graduated with honors in Hispanic Languages and Literature, and obtained a second major in Speech and Hearing Science. 

In the spring of 2005, he attended the
Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in Madrid, Spain. In 2006 and 2007, he was the Chair of the internationally distributed Souvenir Program for the National Conference of States Societies (NCSS) Cherry Blossom Princess Program, part of The National Cherry Blossom Festival.    In 2008, he continued to collaborate with NCSS on the Souvenir Program.

Between 2006 and 2009, Mr. Elsbernd attended Pacific McGeorge School of Law, graduating with distinction. He received the Certificate of Governmental Affairs and the Witkin Award in Legislation. He served as President of the McGeorge Federalist Society, and was a member of the Labor and Employment Practice Group Executive Committee for the national Federalist Society. Additionally, he was a certified student attorney for Community Legal Services, a non-profit civil practice clinic, and for the Solano County Public Defender. 

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Elsbernd was a legal extern for the California Emergency Management Agency, working in the Executive legal department drafting and translating bi-national and interstate memorandums of understanding and other legal documents.
