Ms. Sharma joined Wilke, Fleury, Hoffelt, Gould & Birney, LLP, as an associate in May 2008. She received her B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley in 2001. Subsequently, Ms. Sharma worked as a legal assistant at Harbinson Tune Kasselik, a San Francisco firm that focuses on workers’ compensation defense.
From 2004 to 2007, Ms. Sharma attended the University of California, Davis School of Law, where she received her Juris Doctorate in 2007. While in law school, Ms. Sharma served as an editor for the Journal of Juvenile Law and Policy and as the co- chair for Advocates Right for Children. In 2007, Ms. Sharma joined the Sacramento law firm of Porter Scott, where she worked on range of litigation matters, including civil rights, construction law, personal injury, premise liability and products liability.
