Wilke Fleury truly values the professional and personal contributions of its associates.  The size of our firm allows partners and associates from all practice areas to work closely together and develop meaningful professional relationships.  The fact that our firm is not departmentalized allows our associates to become well-rounded attorneys. Our associate development program is designed to ensure that each associate reaches designated benchmarks in each year of practice.  The program contains substantive benchmarks, as well as benchmarks relative to business development and law practice management.  While not cast in stone, the program places an emphasis on legal writing skills in the first year, deposition skills in the second year, courtroom skills in the third year, business development skills in the fourth year, law practice management in the fifth year and the sixth year emphasizes bringing all of those elements together.  Our goal is for our associates to be fully prepared for partnership by the seventh year of their practice.
