The Contra Costa County Superior Court recently granted summary judgment in favor of Fujitsu Consulting, Inc. and AT&T Services, Inc. in a national origin discrimination and defamation lawsuit.  The plaintiff, a former employee of Fujitsu Consulting, claimed he had been discriminated against on the basis of his national origin and that both Fujitsu Consulting and AT&T Services had defamed him.  Kelli M. Kennaday, representing both defendants, successfully argued that the plaintiff could not present a prima facie case of national origin discrimination and that he had no evidence to support his defamation claims.  The court agreed and entered judgment in favor of both defendants.
