Anna Glebovna Thomas was born and raised in Vladivostok, Russia. Immigrating to the United States at age 21, Anna charted an educational course that began with learning English through ESL classes and culminated in a Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Davis. All the while, Anna worked at a variety of jobs to support herself. Through her immigrant experiences, Anna gained resilience, a deep sense of commitment and resourcefulness. Those qualities help to shape Anna’s work ethic in the practice of law.
Anna’s practice primarily centers on corporate and business transactional work and healthcare. Anna’s corporate and business practice reflects her strong interest in emerging legal issues surrounding FinTech, Blockchain and smart contracts, while her healthcare work provides transactional assistance to a broad spectrum of healthcare plans and providers. Anna also works with health organizations and entities counseling clients on a wide range of healthcare licensing and regulatory matters.
During law school, Anna was a legal intern in the California Department of Public Health’s legal department and an extern at the California Health Benefit Exchange (Covered California).
