It’s been said that if all you have is a hammer then everything begins to look like a nail. That’s a dangerous mindset for attorneys to fall into. In my practice, I use litigation as a powerful tool without losing sight of the fact that many of my clients’ goals can be achieved without incurring the financial and emotional toll that litigation necessarily entails. It’s up to me to stay creative and make sure that I choose the right tool to achieve the best result for my clients.
