We believe that the best lawyers are forged from a wide assortment of experiences, both in life and in law. That philosophy motivates us to insist that our associates be willing and able to work in a broad range of legal disciplines, from business litigation to estate planning, bankruptcy to employment. Upon hire, our new attorneys are generally not assigned to a specific department, but rather have the opportunity to perform work in all of our practice areas. While our non-departmentalized approach sometimes means an initial loss of efficiency at the associate level, it provides our associates with the opportunity to find their legal passion and ultimately select the practice area that best suits them. It also makes our lawyers better able to handle the many and varied demands that our clients present and allows us to provide our clients with a true team approach to solving their legal problems. In the end, not only does attorney versatility place us in a better position to meet our clients’ needs, it also provides a more satisfying career for our attorneys.
